The philosophy of Forest School is to encourage and inspire individuals of any age through an innovative, long term, educational approach to outdoor play and learning in a woodland environment

Forest Church is a development of this, using the awe and wonder to engendered by becoming aware of the natural environment to lead us into awareness of God and to Christian Worship.

Across in the Wood - Grinton Forest Church

These gatherings are for people of all ages, and include worship, crafts and outdoor activities, usually around a theme.

The sessions are often outdoors, so please come dressed appropriately. There is no charge and no need to book.

These events are run by Christians Together in Swaledale. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday 13 February, 3-4.30pm - Join us for Candlemas activities and worship at St. Mary's, Arkengarthdale

Saturday 16 March - 3-4.30pm - Come and make Easter gardens at St. Andrew's, Grinton

May half term - Look out for trails in the churchyards

July - Share in a Picnic at Keld on the theme of 'The Lost Sheep' - more details to follow
