What is happening about Christmas services? - Update on 21 November 2020

We do not yet have any guidance from the government about what will be allowed by way of Christmas services and events this year. As soon as there is more information and we are able to plan properly, these will be announced and listed in the newsletter and on the website and parish noticeboards. It is possible that attendance at some events will have to be by booked seat or ticket.

Church Services and Private Prayer in Church Buildings In the light of the new lockdown announcement, we are not able to hold ‘in person’ services at the moment, but private prayer in church buildings is allowed. Our next service will be a Harvest Communion service at 10.30am at St. Mary’s, Arkengarthdale on Sunday 27 September. For Harvest, you are invited to support the Storehouse Foodbank in Richmond.  We asked what they need at the moment and this was the response: I wonder if you would like a theme? There will be a Parish Eucharist at St. Andrew’s, Grinton at 10.30am on Sunday 26 July. All are welcome.
