Church Services – September, October & Remembrance Sunday
Our next service will be a Harvest Communion service at 10.30am at St. Mary’s, Arkengarthdale on Sunday 27 September.
For Harvest, you are invited to support the Storehouse Foodbank in Richmond.
We asked what they need at the moment and this was the response:
I wonder if you would like a theme? We seem to be really short of puddings, treats and biscuits.
Puddings include - rice pudding, custard, jelly, semolina, Angel Delight (anything in a packet or tin) Treats include - chocolate, sweets, nuts, crisps.
We provide puddings in every bag and also add tinned fruit so it can be part of a balanced diet.
Treats is just that - a treat- and we try and add these to every bag but have been very short recently.
There is no need to do anything differently as we have hygiene systems in place.
If you would like to support this, please bring your items to the service.
